Introduction - Marathon.

The year was 2009, four years ago to the day that I arrived to the country where anyone could "make" it (The United States, California, San Francisco). Six months before the arrival I made a choice that something had to change drastically in my life; I had to explore a new country, a new city, a new culture, a brand new society. This was my chance to "re-brand" myself, the chance to become the person I always wanted to be, the person I believed I could be. Despite all the beliefs and wants, I could never get to that point where I could leave my shy and guarded shell while I still lived back home.(Sweden) It took a whole new country, a language that was not my mother tongue and a new society (College) to realize that no one knew me, no one knows my past, no one knows my mistakes, no one knows "that" shy boy.

Enough about me for now, keep on checking out this blog each Friday and Saturday and YOU will find out more, however, this blog is about helping YOU to discover a new world, a world where you will never think "What if I just talked to that person my life would have changed", "What if I just took that job offer in that other country my life would have been different" and so forth...

It is hard to just change over night, especially if your plan on trying to be more of an easily going person backfires, there is a very big chance that you will never try to come out of your shell again, believe me, I know the feeling. It is as anything you do in life, everything is not going to work out in the first try, you have to be patient and very stubborn to reach your goals in life, therefore, this should be a goal and it should be treated as if you were running a never ending marathon. There will never be a finish line when it comes to being an open and easy going person, no one has ever said; "I am going to stop working on being a better communicator." You can always become better and that is why I call this an never ending marathon.
